As a born and raised Nashville gal, I am often asked my favorite spots around town. Nashville is getting a lot of attention these days, and it's fun to watch the city evolve and come into its own – it has changed so much over the years! While we are recognized as the home of country music, this city truly has so much more to offer.
I've traveled a lot in my lifetime, so I know how great it is to discover local haunts, eats and shops – which is precisely why I created this customized guide. There is an endless number of exciting places to visit in town, but this is a list of my personal favorite tried-and-true joints. The guide is a work in progress, and will be updated as Nashville continues to grow and flourish.
Nashville spans over 500 miles, with multiple neighborhoods that each have something special to offer. While in some cases you can walk from one area to another, it is not easy to tackle on foot, so I highly suggest renting a car or calling a cab to get you around town.
If you have any suggestions, ideas to make this guide more helpful, or favorite local places I should consider, please shoot me an email. Or, if you're traveling in this fine city, I'd love to hear what you think of the list! Now, put on those cowboy boots and get exploring.
