My Signature Uniform by Elise Joseph

Earlier this spring, my friends behind Elizabeth Suzann relaunched their incredible Signature Collection. Liz spent a lot of time asking questions to customers, making sizing adjustments, sourcing the best fabrics and really honing in on the core offering. She is no stranger to this site, with her focus on thoughtful, minimal design, in-house production and the most luxurious textiles. I've often said I feel like she is designing for me, because the simple yet intentional shapes and the versatility of the entire line always hit home for me. I put on her clothing and instantly feel confident. This season, I got my hands on the Marlena Tank in Moss, the Georgia Tee in Nude and the Linn Tee in Olive. I've also ordered the Clyde Work Pant in the matching Olive color, and can't wait to wear them together!

These are truly pieces that remain timeless, offer you the ability to layer and easily switch up your look, and effortlessly take you from home to the office to a dinner date. I'm embarrassed to admit the number of Marlena tanks and Georgia tees that I own. When you find something you love, buy it in every color—right? They pack beautifully for trips and I even don't mind letting the silk wrinkle a bit. The silk is machine washable (!!!) and the linen is so lightweight and breathable. I'm so grateful I can buy from a local Nashville designer who puts so much attention and care into every little detail. My closet will forever be full of her lovely collection.

I'm wearing the Marlena Tank in Moss Silk Crepe, the Georgia Tee in Nude Silk Crepe and the Linn Tee in Olive Cotton Twill from the Elizabeth Suzann Signature Collection, as well as Jesse Kamm Pants and the Rachel Comey Mars Boot.

Objects Without Meaning Fall 2016 by Elise Joseph

Object Without Meaning designer Alexandra Michelle is a woman I admire. The label is full of things that I can't get enough of - neutral tones, simple silhouettes, no-fuss styling. Her approach is to develop clothing that emphasizes the wearer rather than the object. The Fall collection feels timeless, effortless and luxuriously cozy, and is one that I'd love to fill my closet with.
