Olderbrother by Elise Joseph

Had a fun morning at home playing with light, photos and some of my favorite clothes. Olderbrother is a Portland-based brand that specializes in durable, comfortable clothing with a playful spirit. Everything that they do is universal, gender-neutral and mixes humor with sophistication. I wear these pieces all the timeI love to be cozy since I work mostly from home, but always want to look put together. My husband has a few OB pieces as well, and I love to steal them from his closet. Olderbrother's eco-conscious textiles range from small batch organics to renewable plant-based synthetics, and are cut, sewn and hand-dyed in Los Angeles.

I'm wearing (my favorite pieces): Sorona Tee, Garbardine Trouser, Jouer Coat, Polo, Sweats, Enthusiasm & Naps Collab Tee, Classic Indigo Crew and Wool Poolover. They just announced a big sale on most of these items - so go on over and grab them while you still can.

State at Earthen Studio by Elise Joseph

It's so exciting to see so many great businesses popping up in Nashville these days. My friends over at the beautiful Earthen Studio (consisting of Camellia Fiber Company, Soñadora Handmade and Golden Apothecary) are hosting an event with STATE next Saturday, December 12th from 11am - 6pm. STATE's FW15 collection features durable yet stylish coats, winter-weight origami pants (my personal favorite), jersey dresses, lithographed scarves and their famous smocks and britches. This small, sustainable brand is founded by designer Adrienne Antonson, who uses organic, recycled fabrics and local fibers in all her pieces. There will be several one-offs available, including these amazing leather house shoes. Bubbles and bites will be provided.
