I often find myself down a rabbit hole when browsing Urban Outfitters' Apartment page. Their home selection is vast and offers an amazing range of unique items. My current favorites in my own home include the Pom-Fringe Duvet Cover, Round Pintuck Pillow and the Crosley x UO Briefcase Vinyl Record Player. With my new office under construction, I've got special details like the Colorblock Mirror and Henrick Chair already on my wishlist. The UO home collection is modern, affordable and works for any type of space! I've partnered with them to share some of my favorites below.
It's been a little quiet around here lately, but that's because I'm hard at work on some fun projects that I can't wait to share more about. I also just signed a lease on a new studio space, and am excited to have an office outside of home! It's been a busy summer, and here are some things I've been enjoying as of late:
+Music to fall asleep to—a playlist by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. You can listen to the mix here.
+Brass collapsible Japanese pens, which I'm told will evoke very intense feelings—mine arrives in the mail tomorrow. Hope it's worth the price!
+Picking the perfect paint color for the new studio. I’m planning to go with Skin Powder by Pure & Original.
+Endless outfit inspiration via Virginia Calderon’s Instagram.
+Binge-watching Stranger Things on Netflix. We finished the season in four days.
+Nuggets of wisdom in this article on The Incalculable Value of Finding a Job You Love.
+Trying hard (and failing hard) at picking a favorite ankle boot for the season.
+Modern Lovers by Emma Straub, and this interview with the author on Man Repeller.
+A visit to the newly renovated Belcourt Theatre, an innovative and historic film center—and one of my favorite places here in Nashville.
Emil Erwin has recently launched his stunning Dot Handbag - I have it in the most gorgeous blush pink, and it's currently available in several other colors like black and burgundy. Suede interior, multiple pockets and a front flap tuck with hidden magnetic closure—every detail has been meticulously designed and handmade here in Nashville.
For a limited time only, Emil is launching special Dot options in every color of the rainbow, including an incredible metallic lavender, bright blue, hot pink, deep green and many more. The program kicks off with a party next Thursday, July 14 at his studio in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood. At the same time, Emil is introducing his expanded family of Monster Dot bags, with unique leather appliqués that resemble cheerful Cyclops faces. Custom appliqué is also available.
Please join us next week for drinks, treats and shopping from 6-8pm on July 14th at Emil Erwin - 904 Buchanan Street in Nashville. Hope to see you there!
