[Fashion] Sink or Swim / by Elise Joseph

Oh, swimwear. I think we have a love/hate relationship. I'm definitely at that point where I'm much more insecure about baring it all on spring break! I never used to think twice about picking up the cutest bikinis... but as the years go by... things change {and undoubtedly become less firm}. :)

Here are the bathing suit styles I am loving most for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. It's a gorgeously sunny day in Nashville and the weekend forecast is looking warm - so I can't stop thinking beach and vacation! Anyone else?

Free People Colorblock One Piece Swimsuit
One shoulder. This adorable trend is super easy to find in stores and just oh-so-cute. I also love the one-shouldered bikinis! Probably best for girls who are smaller on top and don't require much support.

Vix Swimwear Black Bia Bikini
Basic black. You cannot go wrong with a basic black bikini! This flattering color will never go out of style, and I'm all for the slimming effect it has too! I find myself returning to my black swimsuit time and time again.

Anthropologie Green Dockside Bikini
Stripes. I can't get enough stripes this season! Isn't this color amazing, too?

J. Crew Pindot Underwire Tank Swimsuit
Retro/vintage inspired. The polka dots just put this one over the top! I've got some great vintage swimwear going into the shop soon - be sure to check back for the relaunch on March 13th!

Urban Outfitters Marysia Ruffled Boyshort Bikini Swimsuit
High-waisted. I know some people aren't loving this look, but I am all about it! I especially love this combination of soft, girly ruffles with the high-waisted boyshorts. Too cute!

Retro Floral Swimsuit from Urban Outfitters
Florals. I seem to love floral anything and everything. I recently found an amazing vintage black and lavender floral swimsuit that I brought on my trip to Florida last week {too bad it was chilly most of the trip}.

What type of swimwear do you typically go for? Cheers to your weekend!
